Cozy Days In
With everything going on in the world in regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic we know things have gotten tougher for everyone. We know that some of us may find it more difficult to adjust to the changes that is happening in the world more than others. We personally love being cozy at home. But we have compiled a few of our favorite things to do to create a peaceful cozy home.
Calm Your Space
Candles - While all candles offer a sense of calm, a scented candle that complements your mood can make a world of difference. The flame of a candle helps to soothe our soul; reducing stress and increasing self-awareness. The gentle, mesmerizing quality of the light helps us to calm down and even achieve a meditative state.
One of our current candles to burn at the moment is Mondaze because it is made with the calming notes of Lavender which is known to reduce stress & anxiety. Eucalyptus & Peppermint to enhance the breath and invigorate the senses.

Taking 15 minutes out to recenter yourself makes all the difference. Try to block out all of your thoughts and your surroundings and simply focus on breathing. We find that meditating in peace and quite put us back into a calm mindset no matter our situation.
Let the light in
Last but not least, let the light in & open some windows if the weather permits it. According to Forbes Mag.” Moderate sunlight exposure helps improve your mood and focus by boosting the serotonin levels in your body. Also known as the 'happiness hormone', it makes you calm and alert. Also, "sunlight decreases the risk of depression in those at risk of seasonal affective disorder” You can read more here
